My name’s Ricky Champagne. I write comedy.

I just finished a novel called Bluecut Rills—a golf book for people who’ve played courses where the fairways were more clover than grass and were perfectly fine with it. A mix of Caddyshack meets Tin Cup, assuming both had worse maintenance equipment.

I grew up working on golf courses, which seem to attract the kind of people who make good characters. A few of them ended up in my book. I’ll share updates here as it gets closer to release, along with other observations that didn’t fit anywhere else.

I post every couple weeks. If you’re into crooked stories and finding the absurd in normal life, this might be for you.
